Terms of Service
By using ChinaHop you agree to these terms. The service is provided by the operator of ChinaHop ("we").
1. The service
ChinaHop gives users outside mainland China an encrypted connection for reaching network resources in mainland China. Only traffic to mainland China goes through the VPN.
2. Accounts
You need to register with an email address and are responsible for all activity under your account. Keep your password safe. Each plan allows a limited number of devices.
3. Free trial and subscriptions
New accounts get a free trial for a limited time, once per device. After the trial ends, a subscription is required to keep using the service. Subscriptions bought through the App Store are billed and managed by Apple; renewal, cancellation, and refunds follow Apple's rules.
4. Prohibited use
You may not use the service for any activity that violates applicable law, including infringing others' rights, distributing malware, sending spam, attacking or interfering with others' networks or systems, or reselling or sharing your account.
5. Availability
We work to keep the service reliable but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any particular website or content will be reachable. Servers may change due to maintenance or other reasons.
6. Termination
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store; cancel it first in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions on your iPhone, or Apple will keep charging you. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.
8. Changes
If we update these terms, we will notify you in the app. Continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms.
